What is boudoir photography?
A boudoir photographer captures photos that can be variously described as romantic, soft, sensual, glamorous, suggestive, semi-nude, and nude.
But, it is not necessary to be nude or revealing in boudoir photography.
The style of photography has more to do with an attitude or state of mind than the state of dress or undress.
My style as a boudoir photographer never crosses the line into porn. I prefer the tasteful, artistic imagery of women.
When choosing a photographer for this type of photography, please be careful. For your safety, check the photographer's credentials such as:
*Do they have a legitimate website (not just a myspace profile)?
*Do they hold any awards or certificates?
*Have they invested in an industry standard annual membership (such as Professional Photographers Association of America)?
*Are they a full time photographer or only do it as side income?
*Are they a legal business and registered with the State?
